Happy Father’s Day, to ME actually.
It’s not every lady adult that gets to spend Father’s Day with her father, especially when they live states and states apart. Dad happened to be in San Diego today, so I happened to get myself to in San Diego to see him.
(Can you believe there are enough Endocrinologists out there to fill a metropolitan civic center? They even got a big sign! “Welcome Endocrinologists! ENDO 2010!”)
The visit was short but sweet. Dad and I had a nice brunchlunch, and then he went back to business and I hit the road. And while I’m sure he would have preferred to have spent his 40th (!!!) wedding anniversary with Mom, he got some nice potatoes out of the deal. And I got to see my dad and have breakfast together, like normal life.
